UA770 rewinding and cross cutting machine with 77cm web width

The UA770 rewinding and cut-to-length machine was specially developed for processing flock films, flex films, but also many other media up to a media width of 770 mm. It is often used in logistics centers of wholesalers and retailers of films for textile finishing.

The UA770 measures film rolls up to a maximum diameter of 400 mm reliably, precisely and quickly, and cuts exact short rolls up to a diameter of 280 mm as well as sheet material from corresponding parent rolls just as quickly. In combination with the ConvertPlus2 control software, both parent and customer reels can be provided with individualized barcode labels containing the run length of the film, article data and, if required, much more information. With the help of these barcode labels, the films can be scanned before running a rewind job and thus the article data can be checked and the remaining length of the roll can be read into the system. This avoids many errors in the rewinding process. The ConvertPlus2 supports several ways of reading rewind orders – for example, by scanning corresponding barcodes on the delivery bills or even by fully automatic imports of electronic order data. The tensioning shafts of the UA770, which are mounted on one side, enable fast and safe tensioning of all films and roll cores. The tensioning of the films themselves is done either by simple tensioning levers operated by the operator or pneumatically by the internal machine control. The optional splicing mode allows professional splicing of transparencies, controlled by the ConvertPlus2 software. With the FastCutFeature, the process time can be reduced when cutting sheets via ConvertPlus2. A new type of tension shaft with an inner diameter of approx. 50 mm can also be used for coreless winding.
