The Select SR1600 slitting and rewinding machine offers a precise and efficient solution for slitting and rewinding wide roll media such as PVC film, paper, fabric, reflective films, adhesive films, adhesive tapes and many other media. Equipped with 10 razor blade knives, the SR1600 enables precise slitting and rewinding at a speed of 1 to 60 m/min. With a maximum media width of 160 cm, minimum cutting widths of 25 mm can be achieved; even narrower widths are possible on request. Rolls up to 40 cm in diameter can be unwound and wound onto two shafts. All three winding shafts are equipped with pneumatic expansion shafts. The SR1600 is characterized by an excellent price-performance ratio and is one of the few machines on the market that offer entry into this slitting technology with high precision, efficiency and versatility in this price range. Adhesive media can also be processed, as the adhesive side can be fed open through the machine.
To use a slitter rewinder, you usually need paper cores cut to size onto which the cut webs can be wound. These cardboard cores can in turn be cut to size on a slitting machine or using a core cutter.
