A high-performance adhesive tape does one thing: stick strong. But NEPATA cut-off solutions can also cope with this, as the test with Orabond 1397 from Orafol proves. In the NEPATA test studio, we produced strips between 5 and 12 mm from a whole roll of Orabond 1397PP. We used the UA1650 ADWS precision conversion center. Our conclusion: Cuts well, but sticks like crazy! That’s where it’s good to have the NEPATA lubrication system, which specifically wets the blade with silicone oil and cleans it permanently Another advantage: We have the right blade for every application and every material. In this case with the thicker adhesive layer, a smaller 2.0mm x 240mm cut-off blade beveled on one side served us well. More about NEPATA UA1650 ADWS Precision Conversion Center
